Alley neighbours must maintain grass in newly established bylaw in St. Clair Township

Failure to comply will be costly

Homeowners whose properties border an alley in Ontario’s St. Clair Township are now responsible for maintaining the grass, according to a new local bylaw. Those who fail to do so will be charged the full cost of the work if done by township employees. The bylaw was established after alley neighbours ceased maintaining the adjoining turf.
